I type in my password and user name correctly, yet I keep getting the message "Failed to connect to server" . The patch overwrite has been successful. I also ran the old patch before installing the new one. Along with the Sak and KRO clients before and after installing the new patch. Reinstalling the patch and continuously running the patch did not work either. Can someone help me with this problem? Pleas and thank you.

Have you checked your "data" folder? Make sure that there isn't a file named sclientinfo.xml or clientinfo.xlm in the folder. If there is, delete it.

Also, try right-clicking and running the game client as admin access or in compatibility with Windows XP - Vista.

Those two files do not exist in my data file and running the client as the administrator did not work. I did notice that the old patcher was overwriten but the old game client is still there. I tested out the old game client and it worked but only one of my four characters was visible on the character list.

K, the *old* game client should just be deleted since it can't communicate properly with the game server any longer (packet versions do not match, thus it causes display errors like missing characters, etc).

Next, check if you have data.grf and/or rdata.grf - If you have neither, you need our full installation package.

If you haven't already downloaded the lite installer, try doing so to see if it fixes your issues ONLY if you have rdata.grf and data.grf. Thank you!
