What is Ragnarok Online?
Ragnarok Online is an interactive, multi-player, online role-playing game. The game itself provides hours upon hours of entertainment, whether through exploring the lush environments, fighting monsters, meeting new friends or competing against other players in Player Versus Player (PVP) fighting arenas.

Can I be a GM?
Generally, if you have to ask, the answer you will receive is, "No". If we are looking for staff members, Serenity will approach you himself, or we will post about accepting applications for additional staff on the website.

What's different about SerenityRO?
We provide access to our gaming server absolutely free, provide excellent support, and feature many custom quests and constantly strive to keep our players happy. An experienced staff, friendly community, special features and server stability are just a few of the things that set our server apart from many other private servers currently available.

How long has SerenityRO been open?
Our server opened March 8th for Alpha Testing. We moved to our first official "hosted" server the following day and entered Beta Testing. Official accounts have been active since March 9th, 2007. The server closed down for a month March - April 2008, and is now up and running, fresh and new.

Why does the Fruit Merchant sell SP recovery items so high in price?
SP isn't meant to be a never-ending source of power. By increasing the price of the SP recovery items, we ensure more game balance and preserve the player's options of playing more strategically.

What does _____ mean?
SP - Spiritual Power, energy required to use skills/cast spells.
HP - Health Points, your total amount of "health". When this reaches 0 your character dies and you will have to start over from your save point. You also lose 1% of your current level's experience each time your character dies.
Tank - This is when a player with high HP allows a monster to attack them so that other players can attack the monsters safely without taking any damage themselves.
Buffs - Support skills which raise or change your stats temporarily.
GH - Glast Heim, this is a cursed dungeon containing high-level monsters mostly of the demon/undead property.
GJ - Grape Juice, very useful support item which recovers about 50 SP per bottle.
Leech - A player who sits in a party to gain experience points while doing nothing to earn the experience points themselves.

What are the Donation Dungeons?
The Donation Dungeons are our special way of saying "thanks" to people who donate to our server to help cover the server costs. They're accessible by using Golden Keys, which are only available through donating or winning events which give Golden Keys away as prizes.
